Golfing - The Shamrock Heights Golf and Supper Club at New London is an 18 hole par 70 course. Also lessons, practice range, and practice green. There are ten other courses within a 15 mile radius. Massage, Salon, & Spa - A variety of local services include massage, stress reduction, facials, tanning, or hair and nails. The New London Aquatic & Fitness Center has a schedule that includes an indoor pool, sauna, and whirlpool. Area Fishing - With the Wolf and Embarrass rivers in town you can find great fishing even year round. Fish for trout in spring fed ponds at the Wilderness Springs Trout Farm. Green Bay Packers - Lambeau Field is just 41 mile away. Lambeau's Hall of Fame museum is open year-round. Hot Air Ballooning - Bums In Paradise based out of Appleton has sunrise & sunset flights year round. Rawhide Boys Ranch - The Rawhide Boys Ranch with a collection of Bart Starr photos and memorabilia is just 10 miles southwest of town. It offers tours by appointment and has scheduled dates for fish fries. Winter Recreation - The New London area has snowmobile trail access points, cross-country skiing, and even snowshoeing. You can also find more activities within Waupaca and Outagamie counties. Skiing & Tubing - The Navarino Slopes ski area is just a 23 mile drive, and Nordic Mountain is about 37 miles. Both also have snow tubing lifts & tube rentals. In the summer, Nordic Mountain has a wakeboarding pond. |

March Musky Magic fishing show with seminars, bait & tackle vendors, guide services, and demonstrations.
Sturgeon up to six feet long can be seen on the Wolf
River from the Sturgeon Trail during spawning late in March or in April.

Power Parachute Fly-In & Fireworks at Marks Park &
Airfield just 7.5
miles south of New London. July 4th of July Fireworks at Hatten Park in New London. Manawa Rodeo. Three days of PRCA rodeos, entertainment, and a parade in Manawa 12.5 miles northwest. View the schedule. The Iola Car Show is a very large event with show cars, swap meet, and a car corral 24 miles to the northwest of New London. EAA AirVenture is the worlds largest aviation fly-in celebration about 35 miles south of New London. August

Oktoberfest at Ferg's Bavarian Village north of Manawa. German restaurant and gift shop. Just 20 miles northwest of New London. The Iola Vintage Military Show has reenactments, a parade, gun show, and a swap meet as well as an encampment by collectors of vintage military equipment just 24 miles to the northwest of New London.
September Cheese & Sausage Fall Family Fest on North Water St in downtown New London. Also includes a strong man challenge. Horse & Buggy Days in Weyauwega, 12.5 miles to the southwest. December Holiday of Wonder with a parade and Santa Land in downtown New London.
