The Little Wolf River in the
summer becomes a
leisurely natural
water
park for tubing and canoeing.
Wolf River Trips
just 4 miles
west of
town has tube and canoe rentals along with a shuttle
service up the river. Or, bring your own canoe for the scenic upper
Wolf River and Embarrass rivers that converge in New London.
Water Ski Show -
The
Webfooters provide shows June -
August on Wednesdays and Sundays at 6:30 pm--just 14 miles southwest in downtown Fremont.
Nature Centers - The
Mosquito Hill Nature Center just 2 miles east is open year
round
with
natural history displays and an art gallery.
There are hiking trails and
when the snow falls cross country, and snowshoeing trails with snowshoe rentals. They also have an
events
and
art gallery calendars.
The
Navarino
Nature Center is 25 miles
northeast, or learn about the
Tri-Rivers Area.
Golfing
- The
Shamrock
Heights Golf and Supper Club at New London is an 18 hole par
70 course. Also lessons, practice range, and practice green.
There are ten
other courses within a 15 mile radius.
Massage, Salon,
& Spa - A variety of local
services include massage, stress reduction, facials, tanning, or
hair and nails. The
New London Aquatic & Fitness Center has a schedule that includes an
indoor pool, sauna, and whirlpool.

With the Wolf and Embarrass rivers in

- The
nearby
New London Public Museum provides a variety of displays and
exhibits. The
New
London Library is next door.
Historical Village
- The
Heritage Historical Village on the east side of town
has tours on various Sundays in
the summer of historic buildings. They include a railroad station with museum displays,
a log cabin, octagon shaped house, school, chapel, and an Edison-Simmons building..
Green Bay Packers -
Lambeau Field
is just 41 mile away. Lambeau's
Hall of Fame
museum is open year-round.

Paradise based out of Appleton has sunrise & sunset flights
year round.
Rawhide Boys Ranch
- The Rawhide
Boys Ranch with a collection of Bart Starr photos and
memorabilia is just 10 miles southwest of town. It offers tours by
appointment and has scheduled dates for
fish fries.
Winter
Recreation - The
New London area has snowmobile trail access points, cross-country
skiing, and even snowshoeing. You can also find more activities within
Waupaca and
Outagamie counties.
Skiing & Tubing
- The
Navarino Slopes ski area is just a 23 mile drive, and
Nordic
Mountain is about 37 miles. Both also have snow tubing lifts
& tube rentals. In the summer, Nordic Mountain has a
wakeboarding pond.

Events
March
St.
Patrick's Day Parade & Irish Fest. Leprechauns
change New London to 'New Dublin' for this renown week of
events. The grand parade and celebration is rated nationally in the
top 10.
The Inn is a short walk to the parade route. View the

Musky Magic fishing show with seminars, bait & tackle
vendors, guide services, and demonstrations.
Sturgeon up to six feet long can be seen on the Wolf
River from the Sturgeon Trail during spawning late in March or in April.

fly-in celebration about
